St. James the Less Athletic Association 

The students at St. James have busy schedules, but they always find time to wear their team colors, whether it’s basketball, football, volleyball, soccer, softball or baseball season. 
The Parish Athletic Association provides the opportunity for students in grades four through eight who attend St. James the Less Catholic School, or the Parish Religion Program an opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of sports through the Diocesan Recreation sports program.
Part of the philosophy of St. James the Less Catholic School is to strive for academic excellence.  We also feel that a good sports program is a vital asset in the total development of each student.  We believe that a student should play sports if he/she wishes regardless of his/her academic ability as long as the student works to his/her potential (effort) and behavior (conduct) of the student is that which is expected of a student attending Catholic school.
